New friend, surprise gift #potsisreal ### goodhydration #MigraineRemedies

Reaching out to meet a FB support group member in person this week provided an important supportive conversation for both of us. She also brought me an incredibly helpful gift — samples of an electrolyte balancing solution I have been adding to a cold bottle of water each day since. So helpful in maintaining hydration. Emotional roller coaster and now a migraine

I don’t do well with change and i’m feeling every emotion that has now caused me to have a migraine. To make things worse i can make it seem like i’m functioning with all this going but I’m a wreck inside. I try to put it out there how I’m feeling but just because i look like I’m okay no one cares. #MigraineRemedies #Anxiety #PanicAttacks

I was diagnosed with Atypical chronic migraines at age 12, I am 43. Last year my migraines increased to several a week. Regiment: Migraine Medications
-1st Line-Preventative
Topamax 50-x 2 daily
Ibuprofen 800-PRN
-2nd Line-Mild
Compazine 5mg-x2
Fiorecet 50-325-40-PRN x2
-3rd Line-Abortive
Sumatriptan Injection 6mg
Or Zomig nasal spray
Diazepam 5mg-1 x max 24h
-4th Line-Rescue
Torodol shot (doctor/ER)
Phenergran shot (doctor/ER)
-Discontinued-Botox Injections
I have started using hot pads and hot showers for instant relief.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
