I was diagnosed with Atypical chronic migraines at age 12, I am 43. Last year my migraines increased to several a week. Regiment: Migraine Medications -1st Line-Preventative Topamax 50-x 2 daily Ibuprofen 800-PRN -2nd Line-Mild Compazine 5mg-x2 Fiorecet 50-325-40-PRN x2 -3rd Line-Abortive Sumatriptan Injection 6mg Or Zomig nasal spray Diazepam 5mg-1 x max 24h -4th Line-Rescue Torodol shot (doctor/ER) Phenergran shot (doctor/ER) -Discontinued-Botox Injections I have started using hot pads and hot showers for instant relief.
