Awesome went to a fundraiser at church today for a boy who has muscular dystrophy. It went well. Amen God is good. Unfortunately, I had to let one of my new caregivers go yesterday because I had to do maximum assistance with transfers and my mom and physical therapist don’t like that because if I force the muscles in my leg and knees to work they get really tired, tight, sore, and jumpy.

I posted this once and took it down because i felt it may be too negative. I am having problems getting the courage to tell my friend that my Dr said i would die from the complications of my muscular Dystrophy. I don't want to get emotional when i call him because now i have zeroed in on the people that im going to miss when im gone. I know there is no one answer to this task but posting it may make me feel better i apologize for the content. #MentalHealth #MuscularDystrophy #etc

I try to stay positive you have to if you're going to survive a chronic illness at least mentally but you can't change the projectory. I already had ten spinal surgeries and last year diagnosed with a rare muscular Dystrophy caused by a genetic mutation no cure no treatment. Lately i have been experiencing severe muscle spasms and weakness in my abdominal muscles and it's affecting my breathing.
Today my Dr sat right next me rather than his usual chair and he said your going to die from this disease and all we can do is make you feel more comfortable as it happens. I knew in the back of my mind that this was true i have researched my condition until my brain was numb and the Neurologist at Cedar Sinai said there was no information on my condition and no cure but it didn't all sink in until today. I am afraid of dying before my Mom she doesn't deserve that i don't know what to tsay next#MentalHealth #RareDisease #MuscularDystrophy #Fibromyalgia #Disability #

We are having a great blooming on our patio. This is a picture of my San Pedro Cactus it only blooms every 7 years i have several that will flower this year very happy. I have had this San Pedro for 12 years then i propogated off this one to make more so more pictures to come. Chronic illness is taking over my life as my muscles are weak inflamed and becoming dysfunctional. Muscular Dystrophy is a cruel unrelenting disease with no cure or in my case even a treatment to slow it down.. i have hit a mental wall i feel mental defeat and i don't know what to do. I am constantly busy with healthy distractions my mom my dog and i love my music i am just tired is all. There are life threatening aspects ro my disease and i can't pass away until my mom has lived her life she is my responsibility there is no one else.

Things are going fantastic with my 8 month old rescue puppy Magnus. He absolutely loves his new house exploring our couple of acres.
