Whenever I’m feeling like a failure, unworthy, unloved, lonely, ashamed, hopeless, useless, and the list goes on... I tend to wallow in these feelings which just makes them stand out more clearly in my mind getting stronger, and leaves me in the most miserable loneliest dark place, like going through endless trap doors 🚪 trying to escape from a dungeon of depression and anxiety. So this picture popped up on my Pinterest, (sorry I don’t know who made it but I don’t claim ownership) and I really found the suggestions to be absolutely BOMB-tacular in aspiring to work on especially for this weeks challenge. It’s just what I needed to put some spark ⚡️ back into my dreary soul...so it spurred the inspiration for my post.
As of today and the rest of the week I’ll be doing something kind for myself on this list, and try to compliment myself every hour or whenever I can remember. Hope this was what someone else needed as well! Keep it up everyone! I’ve enjoyed seeing so far how you all are doing in creating space to fit in time for yourself this week! Tell me how your meeting this challenge this week! For anyone who is toughing it out this week and are just finding it hard to stay aboard the boat... just remember you’ve found your greater strength before in getting through the stormy weather! Just remember you pushed harder than you ever have before and that doesn’t spell defeat, that spells ROCK STAR COURAGE! So keep telling yourself that.
