My son is TG and he is in crisis. He is 26 yrs old, graduated from College last December. He is a teacher with special Ed children. He loves deeply, would give someone the last dollar he had. He’s loveable, quirky, but he’s hurting. He won’t tell his dad or I what’s wrong. He’s been ill, uses edibles, and has 2 freeloaders living with him. I don’t know how to help him. My mom is in palliative care and when he tried to talk with her, she did not respond (has dementia). He has gender dysphoria and has passive suicidal thoughts. Currently, he has no SI. He knows I’m there for him , his dad is there for him. He has ADHD, depression, anxiety. I text him daily just about. What can I do to help him? I know there’s organizations out there. #Worriedmom

I have had a constant battle with anxiety, depression, panic, agoraphobia, fear of driving… you name it. About 2 years ago I started noticing a change in my son. It all came to a head in November. He started college last fall. We had 5 deaths in our family in a year. He was at school 2 days and got Covid. That is when his severe depression, anxiety and panic attacks started. We got on meds, saw therapists, and adjusted meds. While in his last 2 weeks of school, he cut himself. Got a DUI and possession of Marijuana. Stopped taking his meds. Went downhill from there. Drinking and “smoking” constantly. Now he needs to go to extensive mental, drug and alcohol counseling. He really needs inpatient but he is 18 and I know he won’t. I’m not sure what kind of input I need. I just needed to share with people who understand.. #Anxiety

my 16 yr old son has gone out of town on a school competition, all I can do is worry if he is ok. It's the first time he has been so far away from me. I've been scratching and picking because I feel on edge. I still have my 10 yr old at home, and she is sticking close by, because she knows I feel worried.
