So often because we have a facial difference we feel like we must do more, be more for others. We may frequently get caught up in those thoughts and feelings of not being enough, thus forcing us to go overboard for others. This week @Samantha Paige challenges us to ask ourselves if we can let go of what we perceive to be these things we must do. What if these thoughts didn’t exist? What if we just let go? What would that look like? Would the world come go to a screeching halt? Doubtful...what is one small thing you can do towards letting go of these negative thoughts or perceived obligations?

Mindfulness through art

Ways to be accepting are many and varied. I find that I’m able to accept myself better when I get enough water, sleep, whole food sources, and exercise.
