#TriggersinBipolarDisorder #BipolarDisorder #bipolardisorderawareness

I just wanted to post this to shed some light on what some triggers are when you have Bipolar Disorder! We did not choose to wake up one day with a mood disorder, so this is for all the family, friends, support system, etc for people with someone in their life that's struggling everyday with themselves, their own brain, thoughts, actions, overreactions, etc! What you can take away from this post the most is that we try our best to make everything smooth & copacetic, but sometimes we're going to overreact, be sad & cry for no reason, not even get out of bed, just please try to be patient with us & know that when we do overreact your reaction to that could make it worse or help calm us down! Believe me when I say we're already blaming & beating ourselves up for the way we act most of the time, so please try to be understanding & patient with us! And by all means you have to learn about our disorder, how it makes us act, mania & depressive episodes & the best way for you to deal with & treat us & by all means please for yourselves find a support group! Talk with people that can relate to what you're going through & dealing with every day! And to my fellow Mighty 💪 family & Bipolar family what's something that triggers your Bipolar Disorder? ✌️💚☯️💪🙋

But this is what our brains feel like most of the time & I'm so sick of ppl comparing themselves to being sad or having mood swings & not even thinking & joking "I am going bipolar again!" It's not fun, funny or something to joke about! So I just wanted to share this with my Mighty 💪 family this morning! ✌️💚☯️💪🙋 #BipolarAwareness #ThisisyourbrainonBipolarDisorder

I've been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Now what? #BipolarDisorder #Mania #Depression

If you have recently been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, it could be a relief because you finally know there is a reason why you have been going through the things you have been. You might have found out because you were admitted to the hospital for either suicidal thoughts, extreme depression, or a manic episode.

It doesn’t really matter too much how you found out, now it’s where do you go from here?

I think the most important thing to do is to let your family and friends know so....
