Hey, everyone! I hope you’re all alright and staying safe during this Hell that we call a pandemic.

I spoke with my urologist recently (I have Interstitial Cystitis that causes me a lot of pain). We’ve been trying to think of ways to help my pain in the long run. He and his colleague that both one with their patients have been trying to convince me to have surgery to take out my bladder and have a urostomy. I am not keen on this idea. I’m 26... I’m too young for this. So instead he said he will be referring me to the Pain Clinic to discuss Buprenorphine patches.

What are your experiences with this? I’d love to get some feedback about it before the appointment comes through.
