What are some EFFECTIVE ways you have re-learned consistency, self-discipline, & routine/habit-building?

I STRUGGLE with amotivation, self-accountability, brain fog, meeting deadlines, “perfectionism” traps, idea creation/invention, disorganized neverending thoughts, flight-of-ideas, memory issues, and ~losing~ time. Moreover, once I start, I OFTEN down rabbit holes which are hard to invalidate because they are loosely relevant ot I’m scared of forgetting (see: memory issues).

I have a hard time finding the patterns (circumstances, moods, and other factors of context) in my self-hacks and systems that have worked when they did, largely because I am looking for patterns in when I can successfully speed up the activation energy required to execute a task.

This impacts everything from personal aspects (e.g. wanting to meal prep, properly nourish myself, reincorporate fitness/activity, and keeping my place clean/order) to obligations (e.g. assignment/task deadlines and accountability). A lot involves adverse & withdrawal effects from medications, which exacerbated executive functioning. There is more and this is probably hard to follow (something I am also working on), but even typing this was exhausting. :/
