It's Glimmer Thursday

I have really been clinging to glimmers this week.
I've been so very triggered by a situation with my dad.
And it has sent me into emotional and mental turmoil.
So I've been even more in need of glimmers.
And I've been so very thankful for when some came my way.
I've even create some for myself.
That's a good thing about glimmers: some of them simply come your way and others you can create for yourself.

It's Glimmer Thursday

In our little group here, I would like to host Grati-tuesday and Glimmer Thursday.
To help us - especially myself since I so easily forget - to take a moment and reflect on some gratitude and glimmers.
To feel them, however fleeting, in our hearts.
I have found that when I am able to notice and feel glimmers it does better my over-all feeling of well-being.
Oftentimes #anhedonia makes it so very challenging to feel anything good or positive at all.
But I still try to notice the glimmers because I know it does me good.

I know just what I'm going to share today.
It was a tiny moment.
Ever so fleeting.
But I could feel it speak peace to my wired nerves.
And that's a thing glimmers can do: signal safety and peace - so clearly being the opposite of a trigger.
