The suicide crisis in India

Hello there. I watched some news about India. The crisis in India took my attention and the wideness of the events are shocking. Especially students who fail their exams prone to do this action. Isn't there any alternative way of living? Such us doing some other jobs. I got confused. Also Al Jazeera English explains that when schools made make-up exams for the students who failed in their exams, the rate of suicide reduced by %50 percent which is too high. They compared the previous situation and the new situation. The statistics show a major problem. Why are students thinking that their life depends on only their grades? They can do many things still not going to school. #Suicide #India #LowgradeDepression #Student

You're not alone this pandemic season #India

More than 4.0.0.85 million Indians have been taken ill by the COVID-19 virus, but what has been the human cost on an extremely vulnerable section of the country’s population – people living with rare disease? The first episode of ‘1 in 20,000’ Season 2 – Rare Lives – delves on the pandemic and its impact.

Hosted by me, this episode features the experiences of Dr. Dipanjana Datta, a genetic counsellor and West Bengal coordinator for the Organisation of Rare Diseases in India, and Dr. Apurba Ghosh who is the Director of the Institute of Child Health in West Bengal.

The episode on www.sunoindia.in is for anybody curious of what the Indian experience has been like, and more importantly, for Indians feeling they are all alone in this pandemic.

A different world

Wow. I saw a funny image and made it as my WhatsApp status, suddenly I felt as if I've gone to another world. A world free of suffering, a world where everyone knows me as a person who can be funny, who can code well, no responsibilities. And I broke down just about an hour ago due to a childhood memory and the fear that I'll never be able to be happy ever again. And with all the Dushera and Diwali discounts coming up, being depressed, alone and broke really helps.

Holidays are hard. Shout out to all the people struggling with depression, anxiety, ptsd, or any other illness who will still keep going.
