ketamine treatment

Today I had a ketamine infusion for my treatment resistant depression. I'm in a really bad place mentally and I won't go into detail as to avoid triggering other members. I've had many treatments before today's and none of them have been like this. I haven't done one in 3 months and then went back today after my doctor approved it. I was stuck in a flashback that was, I don't know how to explain it, other than that it was extremely real. Like, more than a usual flashback that I have. It lasted the entirety of 45 minutes of the treatment. It was incapacitating. I wasn't able to explain to the nurse why I was silent the whole time. But only after the session was I able to realize what the heck happened. I'd like to say that this experience is for sure an outlier. I've had many treatments that have really helpful. Honestly. I'm just really struggling with coping with this. #PTSD #KetamineTreatment
