Even though the worlds in a pandemic, lockdown is imminent and there’s minimal groceries available, I feel something pure I haven’t felt in a long time. Sleeping and cuddling my partner, just makes me realise it may seem like the world is getting you down, but it makes you realise that the small things mean the most

Five years ago we lost our niece she was 21, her/our family were/are devastated including her 7 year old brother, 6 months ago we lost her mum my best friend of 30 plus years to cancer, diagnosed 9 weeks earlier, her son my nephew is now 12 and has lost half of his family, I can’t cope with the grief how can he? Life is a cruel place to be, sometimes I just don’t want to be here, how do we go on, this is not normal, I don’t know if we will ever be happy again ☹️
