Have been taking prazosin because not able to stay asleep, nightmares, and flashbacks. The panic and wake ups decreases but I still waking up early morning feeling very awake for couple hours before waking time. Does anyone have experiences of taking prazosin?

Prazosin for Sleep

I’ve been on #Prazosin for about a year now. I can’t tell much difference when I do take it but if I don’t I will lay there for hours with my mind spinning.
I have gone from full on avoiding sleep like a toddler to having what I call ‘stressful dreams’ rather than panicked ones, and now I really only recall a dream if I’m extra stressed.
There haven’t been many comments on this hashtag so thought I’d speak up and see if anyone else takes it what your experience has been.

Does #Prazosin actually help #PTSD #Nightmares ?

I recently got diagnosed with PTSD due to some repressed memories coming up. I've been having awful nightmares, so I was prescribed prazosin. It hasn't helped so far. Has it helped anyone?

Anybody taking anything I’m taking?? Serious question

I just left the doc with 2 new prescriptions. #Abilify and #Prazosin can anyone tell me their experiences on them? Not my usual psychiatrist decided I should stay at 100mg of lamictal just for now (going back in 3 weeks). He’s keeping it the same because he’s upping the dosage on the rest of my meds. Hydroxyzine went to 50 mgs (for getting to sleep/insomnia), Prazosin is 1mg (for nightmares), lexapro 10mg, abilify 5mg and switching my gabbapentin back to propanol but upping the dosage on that as well.. Anybody on these? Beside the lamictal and lexapro
