overmedicated

I hadn't been to the optometrist in 8 years and knew that I needed an update to my prescription. The lenses on my glasses were peeling because there was a problem with the protective coating on them, so my glasses always looked dirty.

I have been trying to psych myself up to go to the optometrist for two years. I finally did it this week and then also went to a separate glasses store to pick out frames. I am so grateful that the glasses store had my lenses in stock so I could take them home that day instead of having to go back again. I am also grateful that although my optometrist appointment was supposedly booked with a male doctor, I ended up seeing a female doctor instead which was way better.

I’m having 4 x 100mg tramadol sr per day? I can’t get out of bed otherwise. Is there anyone else struggling with this. Will I have kidney or liver problems later in life? Please help

There is SO much I need and want to say but most of the time I just can't remember. My words get lost, my thoughts get swirled together.  I try to relax, to take a breath, to collect my thoughts........ and most days nothing.

Walking, talking, sitting, standing or just being most days is difficult. I'm not even a quarter of the man I use to be. Frustrated, angry, sad, overwhelmed and alone.

Hiding behind my smile, tired of being told to suck it up. Taking SO many medications that I need to keep a spreadsheet.

Other than that everything else is great! How about you?
