So has I’ve had like three days of back to back episodes of feeling low and I’m trying so hard not to break down. It’s not my period or anything it’s just my mind going through that whole ‘your not good enough phase’ and I honestly hate it.
I stopped taking my antidepressants too because I felt like I was actually ok but now this happens. So what now? #Depression #Sertaline
I usually have my hair in a ponytail or out.. sometimes I even forget it’s there lol. So I decided to braid my hair so I can try out something new.. something different and see what comes out of it.. & I’m glad I did although it took forever to finish but I’ve learnt a new skill so I’m happy. It really cheered me up :) #Depression #Sertaline
Today I finished my first set of sertaline .. I feel so proud of myself because at first I was so anxious about even trying the medication and we live in a world where if they’re so many stereotypes and negativity surrounding antidepressants. However I’m glad I started them and stuck it out because I can see the slight difference in my routines.
Despite of the low moods here and there as well as the side effects (which have worn off now a little) I can say feel a lot more like myself and more at peace recently.
So just sending love to everyone who is on a similar journey with antidepressants or even just mental health in general keep going and don’t give up.
For me looking back at myself and how my life wa before Sertaline I can it’s one of the best choices I’ve made and I can’t wait to see it in full effect ! ❤️❤️ #Sertaline #Anxiety #Depression
I’ve recent started taking Sertaline 50mg & my sleep patter seems to be all over the place.. I have insomnia which leaves me shattered during the daytime.
Does anybody else have this problem whilst on antidepressants? If so how did you overcome it?
Today in Birmingham the weather was super hot! Usually I’d have too much anxiety to go out and we would usually stay indoors and I end up feeling bad for my little one.
But today I planned a last minute day out with him to the Botanical Gardens and we had so much fun! We really needed to go out and bond properly. It was great watching him have so much fun enjoying the sun. It really cheered me up :)
So just sending positive vibes to everyone dealing with anxiety/depression that like me may be too afraid sometimes to enjoy life. Love you all. ❤️

Today marks my second day on Sertaline I’m feeling motivated to keep on going. I have had mild symptoms like muscle ache, insomnia and this morning I felt very jitty (heart felt as though it was on fire). I hope these side effects gradually calm down. Sending support and love to everyone dealing with mental health and to keep on going!❤️
So I’m embarking on the new journey of taking anti depressants from the doctor. It apparently takes a while to kick in, and I have no idea what to expect from them. Any advice?
