Hey guys! I've been having some trouble with my sweating for a year now. I am sweating a lot during the night and during the day because i have no control over my own body temperature. I'm imagining that this is what menopause is. Soon, i'll start throwing my t-shirts in the trash! If i don't wear black or grey; my shirt will have weird color spots on the armpits and its not pretty. I do not know what to do. I am lost. 😣 i need help ! #TemperatureRegulation #Fibromyalgia
Since going through an extremely emotional time (lost loved one) in June 2018, my body temperature has never reached my usual 98.0.0.5 degrees f. That temp was throughout my entire life up to that point. Now I’m lucky if I can get it stabilized at 97.0.0.5 degrees f. This morning I woke up shivering even though the room was warm. My temperature was 94.0.0.8 degrees f. I’m not diabetic and my thyroid is normal. I’m not on any meds except for an anti anxiety medication. A standard doctor can’t tell me what’s wrong and a naturopath can’t either. I read somewhere that fibro can sometimes pair with low body temperature. #Fibromyalgia #lowbodytemperature #TemperatureRegulation
I have come to notice that every winter, right around this time, I start having major problems with regulating body temperature. I’m cold, I’m hot, I’m cold, I’m sweating, I’m hot, I’m sweating, I have goosebumps. cannot find a comfortable or temperature or the appropriate article of clothing. Nothing I do seems to help.
At the same time, I have had diarrhoea for the past 3 weeks. I’m getting plenty of fluids, staying out of the cold, don’t have a fever, and am not “sick” other than these problems and headache. #TemperatureRegulation #GutIssues
One of my symptoms is the inability to regulate body temperature. I already have a low body temp, so when it starts to get cold I get REALLY cold. (It’s not abnormal for me to wear a coat when it hits 75°. ) So now that it’s 31° outside, I can’t seem to get warm no matter how much I layer and bundle up. What are your favorite things to use/do when you just can’t get warm? #LivingWithPOTS #TemperatureRegulation #Dysautonomia
All day, I am burning hot and lay under the air conditioning.
At night, need a sweater and fuzzy socks.
