This is my first post, so hopefully I do it right! ^^;
I want to set myself up a routine, but I can't seem to find a decent app to do so. I've tried using google calendars and my phone's built in alarm clock, but neither of them do what I need. Ideally, I'd like something that could function on my phone and my computer, but also have an alarm feature-- though at this point I'm desperate enough to try anything. Thank you in advance for any advice!
I am confined to a manual wheelchair now, and found I missed the storage basket under my walker to keep everyday essentials with me at all times. I was also aware that having my handbag on my lap was unsafe and wearing it across my body uncomfortable when out in the community.
The solution seemed obvious to me but none of my physios, OTs or carers had seen it before.
I place a regular shoulder bag across the frame of my chair, strap adjusted so it fits neatly, and have all my necessities easily accessible at all times. I have a backpack on the back of the chair for shopping or carrying a jacket etc, but have the peace of mind that none of valuables are easy for others to take.
This has made me more confident and stop feeling like an easy target in public. Hopefully this simple idea will help others too.
With my best wishes to you all

I just bought two amazing items that are really helping me.
1. is a lanyard that holds my mobile because I am forever dropping it. It's safe in its case but I struggle to pick it up off the floor. £12.99 on Amazon
2. Are ties for my walking sticks to hook on things so they don't fall down. They remind me of those hair curlers but ultra long. They're soft, squishy and easily bendy. You can either use it as a hook or a tie. It's called stick safe on Amazon. £6.50 for a pack of two.
So glad I have both these and really reccomend them. #TipLine
