Well, I’m not far away from having my (first ever) colonscopy. As far as I know, they’re on the hunt for signs of inflammatory bowel disease, (and hopefully nothing else!). I’m not convinced that’s the cause of the gastro pain I have daily, but would like an answer regardless! My heart goes out to those dealing with IBD or any other chronic illnesses/diseases while also living with mental illness.
