One of the most difficult parts of being chronically sick, searching for treatments and getting diagnosed at all for me has been the waiting -- waiting in doctor's offices, waiting on the phone with insurance reps, and recently, waiting for an appointment. A specialist I need to see doesn't have an opening for 2 months. I'm planning to keep calling to see if a cancellation occurs but wondering how you all deal with the wait times, especially if you're in pain? Any advice welcome!
