I stopped taking my meds abruptly at the beginning of Autumn last year after my mum decided that she trusted me enough to take over responsibility for my meds. I feel awful about betraying her trust but I just can't bring myself to take them anymore. I don't believe that there's anything wrong with my mental health either but I don't know... Can suddenly stopping meds cause irritability? I also feel hazy and seem to find it harder to concentrate on certain things, is this a consequence too or am I mentally ill after all?

So I finally have a real fear about the Corona virus. I get my meds one month supply at a time. And these are meds that I just can't quit cold turkey. I have a mes review Tuesday. If I don't get the review, my meds don't get refilled. I don't know what to do. I need these meds. And I'm terrified that in the next week, I won't have anymore, and I'll start going through withdrawals and all the other stuff that comes with coming off psychotropic drugs cold turkey. Any suggestions on how to calm this fear? #CheckInWithMe

#Medication
Due to circumstances beyond my control I had to stop taking my cymbalta 60mg cold turkey. I had taken it for 5 years everyday. I was off for 30ish days by the time my situation allowed me to go back on it but I chose not to and stop drinking and stop smoking weed. I have a medication appointment in a few days but no real diagnosis because my primary dr just prescribed it for post-partum but I know my issues are much more complex than that. I have some ideas like #Bipolar #BorderlinePersonalityDisorder #CPTSD #PTSD #Depression and #Anxiety I have started therapy for the 1st time in my life and really looking forward to narrowing this down and feeling better.
