Your kind Monday reminder
I am having a really rough start to the week...
Drained, depressed, and drowning in all I need to do and get done.
A good friend reminded me to try to take better care of myself.
And not push myself so far beyond my capabilities.
It's just really hard to accept that I'm not able to do the things, I would like to do, due to lack of energy and mental health issues.
But I have to try to take care of myself today...
I have a very important meeting tomorrow.
So I'll cancel a course today to be able to go to that meeting tomorrow.
I feel terrible for canceling.
But I can't go.
I need a mental health day.
As we face a new week, I hope you'll do what you need to do to take care of yourself - whatever that may look like on any given day.
And I wish you the best possible week, you can have.
