I need a new home care aid and don't want to deal with it!!!
I am so frustrated!! I have MULTIPLE chronic illnesses, (listed below in hashtags), and ALL cause me chronic pain. I am home bound, spend my days in bed, and have to use a wheelchair to even get to the bathroom, so i need alot of help. I have a home health aid who is here when my saint of a hubby is at work. Well, today is day 3 of her pulling no call, no show on me. And to make matters worse, my adult son, that is autistic and has POTS, was supposed to come over yesterday. He had plans to go to a potluck for Memorial day today, and we had it all planned for him to come over yesterday. He wanted to learn how to the meringue cookies that i used to bake for him when he was little and I was mobile. I had talked to my aid and mad sure she was ok with being my body for me, while I talked them through what to do. She said she was fine with it. Then on Sat she never showed up, never called or txtd, and didn't respond to my calls and texts. Then yesterday (sun) she did the same thing, which forced me to have to cancel on my son and let him down. He was so upset and had so much anxiety about not having the cookies to take to this potluck that he ended up not being able to go. I was so happy that he was going to push through his anxiety and all the other symptoms of autism and POTS, and I am so angry that she ruined it! So now I have been home alone for 3 days, my kid is depressed as hell, and i have to real with finding a new aid, and figuring out what to do for help until I find one! I just dont understand how people can be so heartless and have no regard for other people's feelings and how thier actions can hurt people! UGGGHHHHH!
