Overseas Anything Possible #MentalHealth #MightyMinute

Mental Health/learning difficulty/pyshyical can’t stop you with the right support and environment anything is possible!!! #Fightingstigma
I did it three months in Kenya, I was tough sometimes and challenging but I stuck out and did it. The heat was anoyying, had to explain myself with the autism when needed. My placement I loved it, round community’s and teaches lessons like sexual health, agricultural gaps, women empowerment, business and lots more. I went to placement even when I was tired only stay home when I was ill. Spent three months in a host home , adapted myself to environment and people as best I could . Had a few blips but I had the support and coped well x
I will write more if want to hear more comment if do xx

My adventure #Fightingstigma #AutisticAdults

WOW Cant Believe I am going to Kenya for three months my overseas placement I am so excited . The People who I am going with are great and they all fine with my autism which is double good.
I am hoping with this post that am traveling with no parents and by that I am hoping that I am fighting the stigma of autism that autistic people can have adventures on their own or with help be independent walk outside the house fall in love work save and accomplish their dreams big or small.

Motivation of the day - #Fightingstigma

“Those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind” a great quote for anyone living under the pressures to be perfect...

There sadly is a stigma around physical and mental health, about the symptoms, the medication, and more... especially from those closest to us. They usually don’t understand just what we go through everyday, and while some people try while to help by saying “it’s all in your head” or “the medication won’t help, just eat healthy” it simply comes off ignorant or annoying...

And if you are struggling to deal with these comments or social pressure just remember.
You’re life is yours, and what you need to do to feel like yourself again to able to function theway you want to feel is your choice and yours only...weather its therapy, medication, or just calling in sick from work to have a selfcare moment, don’t let anyone else judge you and those who do don’t matter...instead take comfort in those who do matter, the ones who openly support you in your journey to become the best you can be...’
