As a little girl, I knew that when I grew up I wanted be a boss. Didn't matter whose boss as long I had letters after my name, like CPA, EA, MA, etc. My friends all wanted to be nurses or mommies, or married to doctors or policemen.

As I was reading some of the posts and seeing the different disabilities people are living with, it hit me. I realized that because of, not in spite of, because of my "disabilities" I finally have letters after my name! Hi. My name is Heather, PTSD, TBI, AT, ETC. every morning I wake up hoping “today will be different “ and for the first 3-33 seconds it is then something hurts or something burns something’s numb some imaginary person is stabbing me or shocking me and instantly pushes me back into reality . jokes on me huh lol #funnynotfunny #Fibromyalgia #Anxiety #ChronicPain

I have bipolar II BTW Totally not funny .
Lately (for 10 months )
there have been more triggers. This last month piled on a few more. Serious things .
So messed up it is
laughable. I think so anyway.
I need to be "extra careful with myself." I was told specifically to sleep even when I do not want to.
I had some great reasons not to sleep. My therapist disagreed . I took her word for it . I really did . Last night.
I was feeling down.
I thought it was a good idea to spend a few minute on The Mighty before I go to bed. That was 5 hours ago. I should go to bed . But I bet the sunrise will be great .
I did not even do the cleaning organizing that I do so well when I am up all night. That was one of my "valid reasons" not to sleep.
What the heck!

Today is the 3rd time in 2 weeks I’ve turned up to an appointment in completely the wrong day.

I’m laughing but it was exhausting getting here, now I have to get back to work again. Lamenting my waste of energy.

Who took my brain cells, what the hell!

I had my right knee operated on (torn meniscus). Last night I dreamt that, despite all the precautions everyone took (marking on the correct knee, asking me several times "which knee?"), they ended up operating on the wrong knee!!  
I immediately checked my knee upon awakening.  It was still the correct knee that had been operated on.
I know we share a lot of rough stuff here; I hope this is something that will make people smile. :-)
