My infectious disease relapsed...

I am very, very sick. Approx one year ago, I got an infectious disease/multiple organ infections and bleeding ulcers. Well, after one year remission, it relapsed. Last year, it almost killed me. I was septic and horrendously sick. Doctors said it will take about a year to heal completely, but after a little over one year, it relapsed. I’m so discouraged and in so much pain. I had to receive an “incomplete” in my college class the last time this happened and was hospitalized. I’m facing a lot of those issues where docs don’t believe you either and blame everything on anxiety. The resident believed me, finally did the test, and it tested positive. I’m so distraught, but we did catch it early this time because I recognized it and immediately took action... #ChronicIllness #RareDisease #infectiousdisease #infections
