Who do you go to for support? #52SmallThings

Part of establishing a self-care toolkit is having a list (however big or small) of folks you can contact when you need someone to talk to, AKA your support system. Who is part of your support system who you can go to when you need some advice, help, validation or support? This could be a family member, partner, friend, spiritual leader, health professional, etc. Without giving any identifying information like their full name, feel free to share who’s part of your support team!

What makes you feel calm? #52SmallThings

When you’re feeling stressed out or anxious, what is something that helps ground you and make you feel calm? Maybe you have certain grounding exercises you do. Maybe you have a favorite stuffed animal you cuddle with (or maybe you cuddle with a pet!). Or perhaps you have a comfort playlist you listen to. Share how you feel calm during stressful moments in the comments below. ❤️

How do you define “self-care”? #52SmallThings

Self-care looks different to everyone. Maybe to you it’s scheduling in “me” time every day. Maybe it’s treating yourself at the end of the work week. Maybe it’s going to therapy and committing to working on whatever the situation is at hand. Or perhaps it’s a combination. What does self-care look like to you? How do you define it? This week’s theme is self-care toolkits and our aim is to help you build one of your own, but in order to do that you need to first define what self-care means to you. So drop your definition in the comments below!
