What’s the biggest compliment someone can give you and why?

We all have something we’re good at (yes, this includes you too!). 😊 And receiving a compliment based on those things — a talent, a skill, a personality trait — can mean the world.

What’s the biggest compliment someone can give you that would mean a lot? Why is that?

For Mighty staffer @sparklywartanks , the biggest compliment she can get is someone telling her they enjoy her company. She loves to know that she is valued is the spaces that she’s in.

TRUE or FALSE: It’s easy for me to accept compliments from others.

Happy Monday, Mighties! 🌸

A new week means a new theme and our theme this week is ✨compliments✨.

Praise can come from a lot of places: a loved one, friend, co-worker, or stranger on the street. And, depending on the person, those compliments can elicit different feelings or reactions. Some of us may feel a sense of excitement, relief, or pride; while others are more hesitate or doubtful, which is also completely valid — no judgment here. 🙋

What is your experience? Is it easy for you to accept compliments from others?

Answer "true" or "false" in the comments below. ⬇️

What is your go-to self-care technique when you are feeling down?

When your mood dips, it can be helpful to have some go-to self-care techniques and practices up your sleeve so you can get on solid ground again. This can look like going outside, talking to friends and loved ones, playing video games, being creative, or even taking a break from your responsibilities.

Mighty staffer @sparklywartanks says her go-to technique is to watch her favorite comfort shows as well as to eat her favorite snacks.

What are your favorite techniques to practice when you’re feeling low? Share with us in the comments below.👇

My mood is most affected by…

Because we are individuals who have emotions, are multifaceted, and have different experiences, our moods can be affected by various things.

Some people may find that their mood is affected by the weather, certain emotional triggers, or the events that are happening around them; while others may find that their mood fluctuates as a symptom of their health condition — maybe even all the above.

What do you think your mood is most affected by?

TRUE or FALSE: I regularly track my moods.

This week’s 52 Small Things challenge is a mood (no really, the theme is "moods"). 🤣

Whether we’re happy, sad, lonely, grateful, depressed, hopeful, or stressed, it can be helpful to record our feelings in order to gauge our emotional well-being over a specific period of time. Tracking our moods can also help with seeing patterns and checking in with ourselves regularly.

But while some may find this technique fulfilling and helpful, others may consider it a chore and would rather take each day as it comes.

What is your preference? Do you track your moods on a regular basis?

✏️ P.S. If you find the above statement to be true, let us know how you track your moods in the comments below! We also have our very own mood tracking group on The Mighty. Check it out here: Mighty Mood Tracking

How can you foster your creativity this weekend?

The weekend is approaching yet again. We made it through the week (round of applause to us 👏).

For today’s self-care challenge, let’s brainstorm some ways we can foster our own creativity this weekend. Some ideas: writing, taking a walk, or cleaning up some clutter so you have a more comfortable workspace to be in!

Wishing you all so many creative vibes in the coming couple of days.
