Last night the temperature went down to 0 C (32 F). I covered the tomatoes with sheets beforehand to try to avert a frost damage. This morning, all looks good. Parts of my house look like a disaster zone, but do I have the energy to tackle the mess? Did a little sewing. Making a new quilt top. No rush for it. The quilting group at church has stopped meeting until September. I wish my body would let me clean, but…. I just have to live with this tired, frail body. However, I know that the Lord is with me, come what may

For years I have lived with almost constant pain. This past week, I unaccountably had 2 consecutive pain free days. Even though I usually do chores/tasks in 20-30 minute increments, I worked diligently for 6 hours each day. I couldn’t believe how much I was able to accomplish with no pain!! I am so grateful. Pain returned overnight but think of all the stuff I don’t have to do this week. Thanks be to God.

I’ve had an excellent virtually pain free summer. The heat often improves the pain. Now the temperature hovers around the freezing mark and fibromyalgia has decided to make its appearance known. Of course I got the flu and Covid shots today too. Prayers for the strength to endure are more than welcome. Thanks
