Does anyone know what’s happening to me?
So, for the past 4 months I’ve been in and out of the hospital and ER. I went to the ER three different times due to abdominal pain that was so bad I couldn’t walk, eat, etc… The first time I went to the ER they said the CT scan showed I was constipated (6 pounds). So we went back home, and started doing lots of laxatives, did 8 enemas (with 4 different types of stuff), nothing came out, and I was still in severe pain. We went back, they took another CT scan and said I had no poop in me, and I was feeling sick because of all the laxatives I was taking. Thing is, I never pooped. The doctors don’t believe me, they say that I probably didn’t notice, but you would think I would notice pooping out 6 pounds of poop. I know I didn’t poop. Since then we have had 4 different doctors look at my CT scan, and they all agree that I did have 6 pounds of poop. A little while later we went back to the ER, and they couldn’t find anything wrong with me. My parents refused to take me back home because I was in so much pain and nothing was helping. The doctors thought I was being over dramatic, but after collapsing 3 times, and throwing up all over their floor, they finally took me seriously and admitted me to the hospital. Long story short, they found out I had Lamictal (an anxiety medication) poisoning (a little while before all of this a new psychiatrist durastically reduced my meds, and increased my Lamictal to a toxic amount). They told me to go cold turkey with it. My mom even asked 3 different doctors if it was okay to go cold turkey with such a high dosage, and they assured us it was fine. I started feeling better, but a week later I had a seizure. Turns out Lamictal is also an anti-seizure med, and going cold turkey caused me to have two seizures. Doctors told us that we just had to wait for my body to get used to not having Lamictal. Fast forward around a month and I was still feeling sick, but not as bad as before. Last month, we went on vacation and it got a lot worse. It felt like my stomach was going to explode. For the next two days I had to be in a wheelchair, and threw up a lot. We started going back to the doctors, and they had no idea what was happening. I got a biopsy and an endoscopy, which both turned out normal. We are assuming it’s anxiety now, so I’m back on some of the anxiety meds that I was taken off of. Last week I had a really bad seizer (it’s been 3 1/2 months since the last one). My dad said I suddenly started screaming and convulsing. Then I started tipping over so he laid me on the ground, and I started foaming at the mouth. It lasted for 7 minutes and I had to be taken to the ER in an ambulance. The doctors don’t know why I had it. Ever since then, I’ve been feeling extra sick. A couple of minutes ago my heart and jaw started to hurt so bad I couldn’t breath. The jaw pain went away pretty quickly but it took awhile for the heart pain to go away completely. My dad says it sounds like I had a panic attack, but I’ve had panic attacks before, and that’s never happened to me. Has anyone experienced anything similar to all of this? I have a bunch of doctors appointments scheduled, but at this point I’m having a hard time trusting doctors diagnosis. I’m tired of being in constant pain, and having a very hard time eating. I had to quit my job, because I can’t stand for more than 5 minutes, and I’m miserable. Does anyone have any idea of what’s happening to me? Or what I can do to feel better? (Also, I know this was really long, thank you so much for reading). #Seizure #MentalHealth
