Type 2 diabetes, something I’ve been battling for the last few months and will continue to for the rest of my life. Some people think type 2 should mean I should feel ashamed of myself, but I know the truth and that is that no one chooses diabetes, whether you’re type 1 or type 2 I never asked for this, for me my diabetes came genetically, and while I am becoming fitter day by day the diabetes doesn’t just disappear. I am insulin dependant so just like type 1 I am on needles 4+ times a day. I want all my diabetic people out there in this world to know I am your friend, I will be a shoulder to lean on when it just gets too much, because it’s inevitable that some days are gonna get us down, we’re battling a chronic illness! We are survivors, fighters, warriors and we will not let diabetes hold us back, so stand with us and let’s fight ❤️
