#whatsapp Notifications: In 2018, the world’s most popular messaging app began allowing brands and customers to connect through its platform.

Brands now can interact with their customers on their preferred channel thanks to #whatsapp Business.

Companies used emails, #SMS, and adverts to reach out to their clients before WhatsApp opened up to businesses.

But that’s all in the past now. Traditional channels are no match for WhatsApp, with declining funnels and open rates.

One of the new features introduced by WhatsApp was WhatsApp Business Notification.

It’s nothing more than a WhatsApp push notification. Businesses can send notifications under certain conditions, according to WhatsApp guidelines.

Customers can receive reminders, account updates, and other alerts from businesses.

What are WhatsApp Business Templates?

WhatsApp Business templates are the message formats that a company can send to a user after they have opted in.

WhatsApp currently offers 250 different templates.

In 24-48 hours, WhatsApp reviews the template and all supporting documentation given by the company.

You can use it to send business messages/notifications to customers once it has been approved.

1. Designing WhatsApp Business Templates Curly brackets are used to insert placeholders and replace dynamic material in template messages.

For the same, there are a few guidelines to follow:

Lower case letters alphanumeric letters and underscores (_) should be used in the message template’s name.

There is no space or other characters permitted.

Text, media, pdf, doc, and emoticons, as well as parameter placeholders, can be used to fill up the message.

No newlines, tabs, or more than four consecutive spaces are allowed.

Translations: Business translations are permitted.

2. WhatsApp Messages That Aren’t Templated

If a WhatsApp user or a customer sends you a message, it might be a response to one of your outbound messages or the start of a conversation about a certain topic.

WhatsApp has a “24-hour window,” also known as a “24-hour session,” in which you can send messages to a person without using any templates.

The communications must include a template after the 24-hour session.

What are the different types of WhatsApp Notification Templates?

Enterprises can send notifications to their customers using the WhatsApp Business API for updates such as payments, reservations, account updates, and so on.

When communication is successfully sent, the enterprise is notified that it has been sent, delivered, and read.

WhatsApp features 11 different notification templates. We’ll go through each of the 11 categories in detail in this article.

11 WhatsApp Approved Notification Templates

WhatsApp is GDPR compliant, which means you can’t send any messages to your customer/user without their agreement.

You can activate WhatsApp messaging while offering your service, whether it’s through your website, SMS, email, or other means.

To be authorized by WhatsApp, notification templates must fall into one of the following categories:

1. Notification of Account Update:

WhatsApp Account Update We can use WhatsApp to deliver notifications about account updates and changes.

In this manner, if any unauthorized account actions occur, the client will be notified in real-time.

2. Notifications for WhatsApp Alerts:

Notifications for WhatsApp Alerts send new business alerts and updates to your WhatsApp contacts.

This keeps your customer informed about your company.

3. Payment Notifications:

WhatsApp Payment Notifications Send a payment transaction update to your customers, as well as an invoice to them.

When the transaction is complete, you can send a notification.

E is for Electronic Communication:

***TRIGGER WARNINGS***

Any and all aspects of mental and physical health.

Social media and the digital communication age can negatively impact on our mental health, but often these methods of communication can be vitally important to us too.

Nothing beats a face to face chat. However, this may not always be practical or possible - as we well know with recent and ongoing events. Now we have entered the age of Zoom, Microsoft teams, Facetime and so on, we must acknowledge that these applications are a vital lifeline to so many of us.

The internet and all the new platforms that continue to be developed often get a bad reputation and while this is completely valid (inexcusable events do occur far too frequently), we can take ownership for the content we choose to see and be part of. There are lots of good and positive ways to communicate electronically that would definitely have not been possible without the digital age we live in today. Feeling closer to others, doing training, having shared experiences and even socialising with someone without physically being close to them is now more possible than ever.

Now is the time to use social media and electronic communication for good - keeping in touch with friends and family, making new connections online with groups and forums specific to things that interest us or to bond with others that are experiencing similar life events/issues and even counselling/medical appointments are now all available without leaving your home (and even your bed).

This makes socialising and receiving treatment (and some types of employment too) much more accessible for so many people and that can only be a good thing.

One thing can change your day!

Yesterday and today have been pretty rough. Voices have been loud, mood has been low. But one thing that has got me through is a message I received this morning from my baby sister. It just said “I love you loads”. Just knowing that she is there means the absolute world. I’m so so lucky that I have such a supportive family, and fiancé. My mum is my rock, my dad is only a call away, my step dad is always there if I need him, by sister is always making me laugh and taking my mind off of things, and my fiancé helps me with my panic attacks, he’ll lay with me while I sleep if I feel down, he manages my medication, and he is just an amazing support. So yes, I have down days, and yes I may take them for granted sometimes. But I would not be where I am now if it weren’t for my family!

Be grateful for what you have! And if you don’t have anyone, let me know and I will give you my WhatsApp. I’ll be here for anyone and everyone. If you want a check up message everyday, or someone in case of crisis! Then I’m here, and I will be for everyone!

Stay safe, stay alive ❤️

Love Abi xxx
