I’m new here!

1 car accident with 1 neck surgery with a damaged vagus nerve…..5 years, 136 tests, lost profession, financial collapse, mental breakdown, unanswered questions, life interrupted, medically educated by necessity, forced into disability.

I’m new here!

Hi, my name is Liz. I'm here because I'm hoping to find a community who can relate to the experience of living with Anxiety, Panic Disorder, ADHD, Complex Trauma, and Sensory Processing Disorder (bonus for autoimmune arthritis and previously subclinical Cushing's turned adrenal insufficiency post tumor removal!). Living with this constellation of hurdles hasn't stopped me, but it would be so nice to have others to relate to.

I’m new here!

Hi, my name is ChillyTomato.

I've experienced chronic symptoms for years but finally been diagnosed with both adrenal insufficiency and lupus in the past year. It's a long time between specialist appointments and I'm still trying to get my life back in order, my health is no where near stabilized, so I'm here just to sometimes check in about experiences.

When do you stop looking?

I've been chronically ill most of my life. And I've tried A LOT of different things to help or find answers.

But I'm tired.

Worn out.

Exhausted.

Grieved.

I wonder if it's time to stop working so hard to eke out a possibility of feeling better, and just let things be as they are. Live as I am, and let it be enough.

But I'm scared that that's giving up.

Or...is it giving in? Surrendering my denial that this is how it is?

I'd love to know what my Mighty family thinks of this.
