Crushed

I was living in pain and despair.
I was hopeless and dejected.
I was in need of someone
To show me the light
To hold my hand

And then you came.
You gave me hope of a better life
You showed me the path to happiness
You pulled me out of darkness.

All day and all night
It was you, I dreamt of.
All day and all night
With you I pictured a beautiful life.

But then,
Suddenly you left my hand.
You walked away.
You took away all the happiness and hope
And gave back the pain.

I don't know what changed you.
But I was back into my darkness.
The place where it all started
When you, my crush, crushed me out.

(It feels horrible to be left alone by a person for whom you were ready to give all of your life)

My husband is supportive, he has stuck through the manic/depression phases, rage anger, how he did I don’t know. But lately as I have been diagnosed with Bi-Polar and anxiety, put on a cocktail of meds I see a nurse psychiatrist for meds and our Therapist each monthly. I have been so better but when he is mad at me he has begun to call me a psycho who pop pills and how many RX do you take? the other day I was telling him how Mental Illness is such a stigma & if my employer knew they would fire me how he is the only one who knows and I trust to tell how I fell then bam uses it against me! #Crushed
