Choose Each Day To Forgive Yourself

Choose each day to forgive yourself, you are human, imperfect, learning and growing.
YOU ARE WORTHY OF LOVE.
There is no sense in punishing your future by living in the mistakes of your past. Forgive yourself for not knowing what you didn’t know before you learned it.
Take heart in the knowledge, strength, and growth opportunities each trial inevitably teaches you--and move on.

There is no one you will talk to more than yourself. Be kind, loving, understanding, compassionate, and supportive.

Your relationship with yourself sets the tone for every other relationship that you have.
And remember:
🌻 The past can’t be changed, but the future is full of possibilities.
✋🏻 Opinions don’t define your reality.
🤗 Everyone’s journey is different
🤔 Overthinking will usually lead to sadness.
😊 Happiness is found within.
💭 Your thoughts affect everything about you.
😁 Smiles are contagious.
🫶🏻 Kindness is free.
👌🏻👉🏻 It’s okay to let go and move on.
🥠 People usually end up with what they truly deserve in the end.
⏳ Have patience. Things get better with time.

❤️🐈‍⬛❤️🐈❤️

🫂 Hugs!!

How it’s been going #Life #TheUpside #itsokaytobeokay

Well it has been a minute.

I just wanted to take some time to show myself and everyone on here that as time goes on it will get better.

I have a service dog now, his name is Hart. He has a temper and likes to snuggle. He does zoomies and plays like a young kid.

I have a two part time jobs now. One is detailing the other is at a scrap yard.

My FP and I are doing a lot better.

I am doing DBT and CBT independent counselling.

And I am on 250mg of Lamotrigine.

I haven’t had any major upsets in 5 months and I am 7 months and 16 days self harm free.

I hope everyone is staying strong and that the pandemic hasn’t made anything harder for you.

Remember to be kind with yourself, be patient, and to always love yourself.

Protect Yourself, It's Okay

Sometimes we often find ourselves wanting to always be there for others. Fixing the problem, saving the day, or just listening to them vent about their frustrations/issues. We find ourselves at functions and events that we really do not enjoy but didn't want to disappoint anyone or hurt feelings. We commit to so many things that at the end of the day we find resentment when penciling it onto the calendar that the word "Yes" even left our lips.

I am one of those people. The one who can never say No. The one who thinks she wears a cape and has to save the whole world from whatever disaster may strike next. The oldest of 5 siblings, so the weight is heaviest on my shoulders so who else is going to fix it if not me? But guess what? Not EVERYTHING is my issue. Not EVERYTHING is my problem to fix. Not EVERYTHING can be saved. And it is perfectly acceptable to say NO to anything and anyone. Especially if I truly do not want to go to see that particular movie or engage in that particular social scene. It doesn't make me anti-social. It doesn't make me a homebody or lame. It simply means that I am strong enough to stand up for my own well-being whether that is mental, emotional, or physical in that moment.

Every day is an opportunity to practice learning that it is OKAY to take care of YOU first. Because if YOU are NOT OKAY than when a moment comes that someone who truly needs you to say YES to helping them arrives; you will not be in a position to do so mentally, emotionally, or physically. Be well my friends and remember to just let go. Everything will really be OKAY 😊 #letgo #itsokaytobeokay #takecareofyou #MentalHealthAwareness
