Chronic Illness Reset #chronic illness #MitochondrialDisease

Wouldn’t it be great if we could just say, “I quit. I’m defeated. I lost. I did my best for as long as I could. Let the chips fall where they may.”, with overwhelming chronic illness the way we can with other things in life? Deal with the consequences then get a reset that gives us hope and a way to restart and have some success. #chronic illness #mitochondrial disease #diastolic heart failure #multiple diagnoses # chronic fatigue

FATIGUE! #ChronicIllness #mitochondrial disease

Trying to just push on with your life when you have a debilitating chronic illness with crippling fatigue is like trying to limp along the freeway on a flat tire. How can I ever get better with no energy?

Anyone know much abt a link between #mitochondrial disease and #Fibromyalgia ?

I’ve been diagnosed with a lot of things over the years— I’ve had medical issues since I was born. I’m 36, and was dx ‘d with #FMS at age 14. Since that time, I’ve also been diagnosed with #Lupus , #ME , #CFS , #CRPS , #Osteoarthritis , #PolymyalgiaRheumatica or #StillsDisease , #POTS , and so on and so forth.
But a friend of mine, who has also gone through the gamut of diagnoses, was recently dx’d with Mitochondrial Disease— which is id’d as a #RareDisease by #NIH , but from what I can gather via my research, could very easily be the cause of ALL of these things. Anyone else have this diagnosis?
