remeron

Has anyone done well on this med? A small dose helps my depression but I am wondering if it okay to be on long term and why it isn't as commonly prescribed? I take in conjunction with lexapro. Anyone taking Remeron aka mirtazapine? When my dose was increased from 45mg to 60mg I had horribly intense panic attacks and so I went back down to 45mg and later down to 30mg where I've stayed for a few weeks now. Anxiety is worse than before I messed with the dosages. I'm wondering if 30mg is too low a dose for anxiety. Thoughts?

Anyone else having severe nightmares on #remeron / #Mirtzapine . I was on 30mg and they were so bad, I would also get sleep paralysis, I would be screaming and screaming but no one could hear me. I often get stuck in between my conscious and subconscious mind. They went away but my dr has just upped my dose to 45mgs and it’s starting all over again. I’m afraid to sleep.

I usually don't remember my dreams and it's been that way for a long time. However, last night/this morning I had the most vivid, #Anxiety inducing #nightmare  that I have ever had. I woke up in tears having a full blown anxiety attack. I hope this isn't a regular thing. It was so awful.
