I have an Australian Shepherd named Bumi and a chihuahua/ brussels griffon named Emily Cutie Patootie. They can be expensive and messy at times, but give me so much love and joy. The cuddles and wiggly butts brighten my day. I also do dog sitting to make more furry friends. It's a therapeutic side gig.

In North Dakota, USA, some psychiatrists can write a letter for one support animal to enable a person to have a pet even if their apartment doesn't normally allow this. Do you know if you can do this in your area?

Remember to follow the rules for Service Animals. If you see a service animal wearing a vest, don't pet it. It is on duty.
