Those who simply will not try and understand or even want to understand what those who suffer from mental illness go through, completely throw me overboard. I am mental health advocate on top of dealing with my own illnesses. When people are so frustratingly heartless with their little quips of " Just get over it" or "You are only having a bad day and are sad, you are not depressed," it cuts deep. Especially being a male and having that horrible stigma attached to the publicly perceived notion of a strong masculine male who isn't allowed to show emotions or speak up.
