I think jobs need to revisit probation periods for jobs. Not being able to take off until 3 months or a year is a bit extreme. Perhaps giving folks the flexibility will change the climate of a job. Probation periods can feel like a punishment at some jobs. I get it you want stability so do I. There has to be a better way to do things.
1 reaction I had my first physical therapy appointment this morning, and breathing a sigh of relief because I was not diagnosed with fibromyalgia. At least not yet.
What I am dealing with is rotator cuff tendinitis in both shoulders, triggered by…drumroll…stress and tension. Different diagnosis, same cause. Even if it had been fibro, I would still be treating it in a similar way. I need to up my fitness game and get back to the prehab stretching and strengthening exercises I used to do, so I don’t spend my life doing rehab exercises and missing out on good stuff. #ontheball #Fitness #Flexibility #stability #corestrength #mindbodyspirit
I was fairly depressed but stepped outside near two tiny rabbits - as cute as could be. Instead of feeling sorry for myself I just watched them hop around, which drew my mind out of depression. #Depression #resilliance #Flexibility
So I was sitting like this today just chilling with some coffee when someone walked by and was like "ok pretzel". I responded with "I'm not hungry but thanks".
yeah... turns out they were talking about my seated position on a computer chair. apparently this isn't normal even for skinny people. Go figure. I was cozy!... took my foot falls asleep then I switch lol anyone else a pretzel?
I can only pretzel in certain directions though...
