How to deal with new #mobility issues

I’ve always been fairly active, but when I got sick in mid-March (just a couple months ago!), all that changed. Now the fatigue and muscle weakness are so profound that I struggle to walk more than 15 feet at a time. Sometimes my husband has to help me to the bathroom.

I’m working with three doctors (adding a fourth in a couple weeks) to figure out what’s going on. I’m so grateful for their care, but sometimes I don’t know which doctor to ask for help.

These new mobility challenges are turning out to be very difficult, and I don’t know which doctor to ask about it. I’m undiagnosed at this point, so it feels like I don’t really have the “right” to assistance, but I’m still struggling to get around. I also don’t feel like I can seek help from organizations that help people with certain diagnoses, because I don’t know what the heck my diagnosis is.

Does anyone know a good resource? Should I talk to the neurologist? The rheumatologist? The endocrinologist? My PCP?

For those of you with disabled person's license plates and/or parking decals.. how was the process for you?

I've been thinking more and more lately with my progressing symptoms that I should get at least a parking decal. I hadn't been to worried about it before because I rarely drive myself anymore, but when I do it can be difficult finding decent parking at the few places that I frequent (hospital, grocery store, etc.) From what I have read online on the DOR website the process seems pretty straightforward and simple. Can anyone give some insight on their personal experience? #Disabled #Parking #parkingdecal #ChronicIllness #InvisibleIllness #ChronicPain #ChronicFatigue #imbalance #mobility #Mobilityaid #Cane
