Earlier this week, I awoke with boundless energy (this never happens!) so I made a big pot of soup, a batch of buns, and an applesauce cake. By the time I was finished cleaning up and bagging buns, I was exhausted. I can’t seem to dig up any more energy. However, payroll had to be done, and grocery shopping was a must. I feel like I’ve been dragged through a knothole backwards and dropped on my head. There’s no option but to rest.

Hi, my name is QuinnInTN. I'm here because I have PMR, diagnosed in May 2024, along with Giant Cell Arteritis. I am on high-dose steroids and have an incredible moon face. I am here because I need to find new ways to do everyday tasks.

PMR

#PolymyalgiaRheumatica hi, I was diagnosed a bit over 5 years ago. I was a statue and never felt pain like that. I was on the verge of disability when we finally found the problem. I was led to believe that I should be over it now but when I stop the Hydroxychloroquin I begin seizing up. Mine is usually 3 day flare ups. Is it PMR still or should I be looking into something else. I'm male and closer to 60 than 50. Thanks and good luck

Hi!👋

I’ve been diagnosed w Fybromyalgia about five yrs ago. I really feel like I’ve been given the wrong diagnosis n have had a hard time excepting it. I’ve been doing some research of my own n thinking I may have polymyalgia rheumatica and the giant cell arteritis. I’ve been tested in the past- having the ESR and the CRP done, which both turned out negative but am wondering if I could still have it or b diagnosed w it not being positive. Does anyone in this group have this and know anything about it. I will b contacting a rheumatologist soon for testing again as I feel I have so many symptoms. Thank u!

Sciatica is kicking my butt this week. So much to do, but a few minutes here and a few minutes there, and some progress is seen. I checked my garden a bit ago, and a few carrots, onions, and potatoes have sprouted. Tomatoes seem to have settled into their new homes. Few flowers are blooming. These small miracles please me. The sun is shining and the temperature mild.
