How Art Though

Hi All,

I wanted to post and do a quick check-in. So far, I am doing pretty well this week and enjoying the company of my siblings 🙂

Accidents Poop

I was walking in a store and I had the urge to poop but there were no bathrooms around so I had to hold it. I couldn't hold it anymore and little poop came out. I hate having Crohn's. Also not embarrassed to post this in public (I mean I use to be but that doesn't matter). Anyone else going through this? #CrohnsDisease #Crohnies #ChrohnsGirl

Stepping Into A New Chapter

What thoughts come to mind when a new aventure awaits?

I recently finished graduate school and have not put in a lot of energy to finding work. In the back of my mind I think 'here is a new chapter...what will it be like, I know I will be ok." #Crohnies #UlcerativeColitis #IBD

Slow Release Iron Supplements?

I'm currently pregnant and anemic (as I always am thanks to #CrohnsDisease .) My OB wants me to take Iron supplements, but I have a reeeaaaalllyyy hard time with them. I tend to throw them up. Iron rich foods are also hard because Crohn's. Are they any #Crohnies out there who have had success with iron supplements that don't destroy your sensitive stomachs? #inflammatoryboweldisease #IBDAwareness #Anemia #ChronicIllness #AutoimmuneDisease #Pregnancy

What are folks' weekend plans?

Yoga, walking, homework, and figuring out how to navigate Google Classroom. It is interesting navigating an electronic classroom in order to meet my internship requirements #Crohnies #UlcerativeColitis #COVID19

What are three fun facts about yourself?

Greetings and welcome #UlcerativeColitis #CrohnsDisease #Crohnies members and advocates/support squad. Let's get to know each other with a little fun facts: funny/embarassing/and anything in between.

My Response:
1. I was diagnosed with Pan-Colitis during college

2. Improv acting is my favorite hobby/emotional release

3. I enjoy lemon drops...the hard candy, not the adult beverage

What about you?

To people with Crohn’s disease: What do you use for constipation? I used Miralax and magnesium citrate, they aren’t enough to not feel as stuffed up

Needing people to relate to #CrohnsDisease #Crohnies

I recently got diagnosed with Crohn’s diseases , I’m 15 years old and I would really like some people to talk to, ask questions and just honestly relate to.
