I haven’t been on many vacations in my life, but the ones I’ve been on have been pretty special. I was sifting through some old photos recently and I came across some vacation photos and it got me thinking about my favorite vacations… and I wanted to know about yours.

Aside from the “big” ones like going to Brazil to meet my family for the first time or Colorado to meet my partner’s family, I’d have to say that a weekend getaway down the shore with my mom is among the top five.

What is your favorite vacation? Day trips totally count btw! There’s nothing better than exploring a new city, and hopefully we’ll get to do some more traveling sometime soon.

My uncle, who is only a few years older than me, decided that this should be my first event coming back to Nevada after so long. 😂 How can an introvert refuse? I had a great time. It was kinda lame (it's supposed to be!), but fun. With the crowds, I made sure to keep my son close. Both of us having autism, it was a little overwhelming... There was also a nurse in our group, and she checked in with us. I learned so much from the owners about their farm, and have taken a different path in my research for sustainability. Dedicatedly worth it.
