Heart failure
I’ve worked in healthcare for over 12 years now and in the course of those 12 years have heard the words heart failure too many times to count. Never did I expect those words to come out of my doctors mouth in regards to myself. At the age of 31, I have been diagnosed with heart failure. But I’m lucky as it was caught early. It’s not reversible but can be managed and kept from getting worse. Times like this can be scary and hard but I know that the Lord is with me and has provided me with ahn amazing support system. I’m grateful for the love that surrounds me and those who have stood behind me through everything, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Every blessing contains a trial and every trial contains a blessing. My journey is not over and I am setting my sights on achieving greatness even through this trial. #MentalHealth #Bipolar1 #Anxiety #PTSD #Depression #CongestiveHeartFailure

I’m new here!
Hi, I’m lateforthis. My daughter was diagnosed with bipolar I and schizoaffective disorder last year. This follows handfuls on handfuls of medical stabilizations, psychiatric admissions, IOPs, PHPs, overdoses, suicide attempts, and residential stays from age 13-15. I can’t summarize it all. She turned 18 last month and its a new kind of hell. I need community who gets this.
