#justice

Here was my project for the weekend. Just something to brighten up the neighborhood and remind folks what's really important right now and always.

The quote comes from the Bible - Amos 5:24 but it was also one of my favorite camp songs growing up. Keep fighting for justice!

Where do you find courage? #MightyPoets #SaturdayScribbles

February’s poetry prompt is “Where I Find Courage.” Courage can be found in the most unlikely of places.
I would love for everyone to join me in February’s #MightyPoets prompt and let’s talk about where you find courage. #SaturdayScribbles #ChronicIllness #MentalHealth #Disability #Anxiety #Depression

crochet gets me through #MG #EDS #CVID #magiccirclecrochetar

#SaturdayScribbles
I love working with color and texture. crochet is nearly the only thing I can do at this point with my diseases so I’m embracing that and started a little business. tonight pain levels are high and I keep stopping breathing so I’m just crocheting it forward. #MG #CVID #EDS #RareDiseases #Zebras

Portray Your Health Condition

I borrowed something but I feel like it is right. I've had PTSD for 8 years, the symptoms of course include: hypervigilance, self-destructive behavior (I chew my fingers to bloody messes), flashback, mistrust (especially of men), generalized fear, severe anxiety, loss of interest in activities, loneliness, insomnia, nightmares, emotional detachment & unwanted thoughts. 🙄 I did therapy for 2 years. Despite my requests no one in my family would come and learn about what my brain was doing. Even my husband won't really take time to understand. So I try to keep pulled together but the cracks are there and once in a while one of the pieces falls off all together. The PTSD is in my head but always pushes out through the cracks.

the energy in #SaturdayScribbles #creative #copingskills

Art is anything you make, whether you see it, feel it, hear it...

Sometimes I scribble with beads and wires.

Lately I haven't done much, but this
#SaturdayScribbles is the reminder I need to get back into it. This pendant is one of my favorites as a bright and shiny example.
