In response to today's #MightyMinute these are my baby girls Maci (black) and Bella (brindle). Bella is my savior dog who warns me before a blackout and blocks my head from hitti g the floor. She was ripped away from her mom to early and we had to bottle feed her.

Maci has been with my for 13 years and stayed by my side through so many horrible episodes for both of us. She came from a neglectful owner and had to fight many health problems of her own.

They are the ones who remind me to take my life by the moment I'm in, not by the past I've endured. Today they are happy and healthy, and dearly love and appreciate everyone in their lives; Even our grumpy dog, their brother Toby (he's a Russell terrier so it kinda explains his attitude).

These dogs heroes for findig so much joy every day.

Hey guys. My mom thought it would be hilarious if she dressed me up like this.

Do I looked thrilled? (The answer is no.) Her head has been hurting because of all of the rain so I’m entertaining her wishes for one day only.

I take my job as her comfort animal extremely seriously. Turkey costume or not, I’m always there to pick her up when she needs it the most. (Plus, she’s the one who feeds me breakfast so I have to keep the peace.)

Gobble gobble, as my feathered friends say.
