    Hello

So as a person with EDS I also have type 2 diabetes. I am praying on how to treat diabetes through diet that will also cope with my needs as far EDS and my mineral deficiencies. My potassium is wanting to run low as well as my iron. I really want to handle my body by using natural elements to truly treat my issues. If anyone has any insight on what to do that won’t spike my blood sugar I would greatly appreciate the advice:) #EhlersDanlosSyndrome #DiabetesType2 #Anxiety #ADHD

Motivational Monday: You Made It To Today So Keep Going

    “The thing is…
    is that you’re still alive,
    your heart is still beating,
    your eyes are still blinking,
    your brain is still thinking,
you thought you couldn’t survive yesterday,
but you made it to today.
    So keep going.”- S.B

You can definitely make it through today if you survived yesterday. One step at a time, one moment at a time. Keep going 💙

Quick Tip Thursday: New Diets Need Medical Consultation

Make sure your diet is compatible with your individual healthcare needs before starting a new diet to manage diabetes. Food allergies or food intolerances, as well as treatment-related conditions that require the restriction or avoidance of certain foods, should be taken into consideration.
