I Broke-Up With My Friends This Year For My Mental Health

2019 has by far been the most difficult year to manage mentally and physically. With 11 days left in the year, I'm pretty much down to 3 "friends" and only 1 of them I speak (I mean text, because I won't leave my house unless I'm dying) to on a semi-daily basis. I'm done playing nice with people who are outright ignorant to mental health just to keep the peace. My sanity is more important than the facade I used to wear. #Depression #SocialAnxiety #PTSD #MentalHealth #BipolarDepression #GeneralizedAnxietyDisorder #PseudobulbarAffect

We are #MightyTogether

I just joined The Mighty as a contributor and needed this news right now in my life I'm honored and grateful to be a part of a forum dedicated to connecting people who suffer similar life-struggles. It also allows me to feel less isolated in my mental despair as well as using my passion for writing as a therapeutic tool. #Therapy #Dailystruggle #TBI #Depression #generalizedanxiety #PTSD #Trauma #PseudobulbarAffect

The Dark Knight

The first time I saw the dark Knight, I laughed a lot at Heath ledger's joker, the things he said, like, you're a freak to them, just like me, and they'll cast you out when they don't need you anymore, I thought he is super delusional and people will never do that to me, my friend would never push me away or out, but now, when I've been diagnosed with mental illnesses, been in and out of psych ward, I can understand that, because now I'm alone, I don't have anybody and it's fine, better be alone than with snakes who don't even bother to ask how you're doing even though they know that you're suffering from such severe mental illnesses. #BorderlinePersonalityDisorder #PseudobulbarAffect #SchizophreniaSpectrumPsychoticDisorders #Happiness #BetterNow .
