Slept well for the first time in days last night, and this morning felt really good. Got up and decided to let my husband sleep so he didn't have to go get me a cup of coffee. I went downstairs on my own and came back up and now the sacroiliac pain and lower back pain is almost unbearable again. Sitting is fine but standing I can feel the pressure and feels like my hips are cracking. The stairs are murder. Been taking cyclobenzaprine and ibuprofen. Using ice and heat off and on. I need this arthritis flare to end! Today was another outpatient procedure for my back, number 4 for this year and the last one of 2020 wahooo!!! This time my mom and I brought miss Poppy girl 🐕 with us, so I could see her as soon as I was brought out! 😇 My amazing mama kept her busy for 2.5 hours. Of course I had pain during/after which I expect 70% of the time with these procedures. But my tears turned to smiles as I showed the nurses my little pearl wearing girl!! We matched with pink jackets today 💕 She was such a good girl and loved all the attention she was getting!
I’m hoping I get some relief from this one, my awesome anesthesiologist called me while I was eating dinner to check on me, he’s the best! I find plants and gardening to be so centering and relaxing. Pain stops me from doing as much physical work as I’d like, but I’m coming to a place of acceptance with it and find just “being” in the presence of plants/trees to be enough.
